Samurai 7 is an Anime TV series based on the movie "the seven samurai" by Akira Kurosawa.
The professional journal MangasZene described Anime as "successful modernized transformation of the Kurosawa classic". The motives of the original would be captured very good and the simple character design and the environment would create a harmonious atmosphere.

This illustrated book shows scenes out of the series and - this is of special interest - the graphical development of the single protagonists and antagonists etc.
