This print shows a Kumusô wandering monk from the Fuke sect with a hat pulled deep into his face and a shakuhachi.
Occasionally, also ninja disguised as "kumusô" in order to being able to carry out their tasks.
An interesting picture seen from a European perspective at that time. The illustration is extremely detailed.
