Samurai helmet
This excellent scroll shows a 12-plates helmet of the hoshi-kabuto type placed on a stand. The helmet has powerful maedate and helmet "ears" as they were used from the 12th until the 13th century.
Decorative kagemono in brilliant colours.

Condition: Good, fresh colours; The honshi has slight mould stains and is darkened due to its age. The upper tenchi area has slight mould stains which are, however, barely visible. Overall a beautiful and colourful scroll.
